hey there!

I'm Sydney, an art director and photographer from Dearborn, Michigan. I am a recent graduate of Michigan State University, earning a bachelor's degree in creative advertising, with a double minor in media photography and graphic design.

Growing up in a household mixed with entrepreneurs and performers, I picked up knowledge from all things logical to creative. For over fifty years, my family has owned a small donut shop in my hometown. From crafting a donut to learning how to manage a business, I consider myself having a pretty logical and orderly approach to things. On the other hand, I am also very spontaneous and enjoy having fun with work!

I began my journey into the art of photography around the age of thirteen, toying around with my dad's old cameras and capturing stage photos while attending my school’s play rehearsals. From there, I practiced photographing headshots for friends, documenting my brother's rock band, and creating promotional videos for my theatre department. As I grew older, however, I started to expand my knowledge and take advantage of opportunities to strengthen my skills.
